What is COVID-19?
COVID-19 is the abbreviation, given by the World Health Organization, for the novel coronavirus that made its presence in 2019 (Epidemiological group of emergency response, 2020). The virus originated in Wuhan, China in late December and has now quickly affected country after country.
The virus is a pneumonia like illness, resulting in fluid and obstruction in the lungs. The symptoms range from mild too extreme on the weak as well as the healthy.

Who is it Affecting?
The coronavirus is a silent killer that anyone can get, however, it does not care whether you are healthy or weak, young or elderly, it attacks no matter what. The symptoms can range from mild to extreme, but is more likely to be fatal to a person who is over 60 years of age with additional underlying medical issues (Epidemiological group of emergency response, 2020).
